Ph.D. student
Sterling graduated from the University of Michigan in 2023 with an MSE in Environmental Engineering and is currently a first year PhD student in the Rockey group. Their previous research with the Environmental Biotechnology group at U of M centered on viral surveillance in wastewater and indoor air. Sterling hopes to continue to explore transmission and persistence of virus in the environment with their PhD work.
